Saw both wrasses on the webcam today; while the pintail spent a big part of the day hiding - its seems like normal hiding, and not in distress as he appeared yesterday.

Follow the instructions on dosage. Except wait 5-7 days between doses instead of 48 hours.

The reason is praziquantel only kills live worms. Worms in the incubation stage are not terminated. So you have to give them enough time to hatch in order for the second dose to be successful in erradicating flukes. Hence the 5-7 day gap.

So - do I do any water changes between the 5 day gap separating first and second dose of GC?

Good news - both fish out and about today. Carpenter wrasse has a white poop - see pic - likely internal parasites. Will the general cure take care of that ? If not, what’s a good option. Both are eating and I am on
Day 5 of therapeutic cooper and day 2 of GC

Yes GC and focus in the good with a drop of Garlic guard (to disguise taste) for 10-14 days should eliminate internal parasites

And is focus compatible with cooper ? Or should wait till the fish are transferred into a new copper free tank in 9 days to start focus ?

Focus is just the binding agent used to bind the General Cure to the food

Just to be clear, that is a 25% wc after 5 days or first dose , prior to giving the second dose
Correct.
Anytime 24 hours after the initial dose, but before the 2nd dose.

I feed food soaked with GC+focus during copper regularly.

No issue there.

Can't seem to find Focus locally; heard from one LFS that it has been pulled out of Canada (not sure why or how accurate this is).
Is there a substitute? Will the API general cure be enough ? thanks again!

both wrasses attacked the mysis i fed this morning and are out and about. this is day 6 of therapeutic copper and day 3 after adding general cure (although i did do a 50% WC yesterday; obviously adding the right amount of coppersafe to keep Cu levels stable)

Unflavored gelatin works as a substitute to focus.

Can you feed this in your DT as well?

Yes, if you're careful. Make sure the food is well mixed with the med and focus. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. I then feed only solid pieces of food, not the liquid, and only a few pieces at a time so I can see that all the food is being eaten by fish. Even so I've had pieces of medicated food grabbed and eaten by shrimp and nems, which I didn't like but which they all survived. Others have reported fatalities when inverts have gotten hold of medicated food, so it's important to be careful imo.
