help green algae

Ok guys I need help I didn't freak out about the brown algae (diatoms) but now I have green algae and im freaking out my tank is only 2 weeks old and still in cycle is this normal or am I doing something wrong

its normal. just add a good cuc after the cycle and it should handle it for you.

Thats pretty normal and like the brown algae it will go away. Keep a check on your water parameters and i hope that you are using ro/di water.

keeping a very short or no light cycle will help with that too.

I run my lights 8 hours a day 5 hours of all lights on then 3 hours of atinics and I have only been using ro/do water

Sounds like its just a normal part of the cycle to me.

normal part of cycle but add a few genuine mexican turbo snails and green legged hermit crabs.. they will love eating it right up!
