Help growing cheato!

I have a kessil h80 and a 12x12 refugium and No3 around 7.5 and have tried everything and am not getting good growth. Im thinking I need different light or more lights. The cheato is not dying just not growing at a detectable level over 4 months. I have 2 Mars black boxes thinking of using one of them to substitute lighting. Has anyone used these for growing cheato?

Check your iron & iodine levels. I started to dose iron & iodine and I fill a 5 gallon pail of chaeto every two weeks that I take to my LFS. The h80 should be fine.

Check your iron I upgraded my H80 to the H38, my only problem now is my fuge works to good I have to add No3 and PO4

Iv check iron and give it a shot. What setting are you using on the h80? I wish I could do the h380 but can’t justify the money yet.
