My green star polyp has been retracted for 2 days straight now. Water parameters are good what could be wrong?!

ammonia 0ppm
nitrates 0ppm
nitrites 0ppm
water temp is 78 degrees
I moved it back from college Wednesday night (hour and a half drive) and it has been closed since then

What's you phosphates. But since you moved it and it's spot changed, I would think it's just trying to adjust to new location.

I've seen these things be "nubs" for like months only to later regret it while it secretly plotted a take over of my tank.....use this time to figure out how to isolate it/restrict it from spreading...I mean if you plan on keeping other corals that is

Nitrates at zero is not good... neither is zero phos. But I agree that GSP sometimes just closes up for a bit when you change things.

It is normal, GSP can hide for months when something change, it will come back no matter what the water parameters are !
As long as it is in normal range hehe.

your GSP went to college ? thats a smart coral ! you know college kids when they get back home they just sleep for two weeks before they come out of the cave anyhow pfft .....
