Picked up a used ATI sunpower that I want to run in my canopy.. didn't have hanging kit.. What are my options to hang or mount it in my canopy?

Looks like I can unscrew top and use wire with a crimped on ferrule from lowes?? Or no?

What other options to mount or hang in canopy?

You could hang it from eye bolts but I'd be careful they put out some serious heat!

It's a 48" fixture on a 6 foot tank so plenty of room for air exchange and the back of the canopy is open...should I still run a fan to move air around?

I guess they just want at least 4 inches. Sticker on my 48" ati. So the fixture should be okay but you may want a fan if it's heating up the tank to much.

Here's pics of mine. Just mocked it up and made a vent/access on the side. It's hung with the included wire kit held by two "L" brackets mounted into the wall studs.
