Help help help!!!

I recently purchased a beautiful flasher wasse. I put up plastic wire mesh all over because of their love of jumping and my cats love of fish. This is a 60 dollar fish, but I had to have him. Long story shot he is no in my over flow in the coder (tank is dilled) There are two pvc pipes in that corner and netting him is out of the question, it just wont fit. I thought about a hose to suck him out, and was told that could kill or injure him. He's eating and swimming and seems to even to stop being so shy. I do want him out in the tank though. I have a community tank for the most part. My hawkfish likes to play, but hes no killer or bully. I didn't design this tank, but I am thinking if I pull out the drain pvc pipe,,cut off the pump, he should go down the drain into the sump area. Or am I missing something. Any input would be awesome

If that is the only way to get him out. I don't see anything wrong. Hope he doesn't go back. I have a peppermint shrimp who keeps going in my overflow so I just leave him there. Good luck with that.

We have a hog fish that has jumped in our over flow twice! (in our new tank he cant.. thank goodness!) Its a pain to get him out! We have a small net we can fit down in there though. The second time though he jumped while trying to net him and threw himself down into he tubing that flows to the sump! We had to help him slide down the tubing and into the sump. Good luck getting yours out! Its a pain but he didn't see to kind being in there! We think he was chased by the clown who we have since removed because he started picking on everyone.

I have used my hand to corner and scoop in the past on old over flow but haven;t had that problem in awhile.
How deep is the over flow can you get your hand to the bottom of it? If so use your hand.

If I understand your post correctly then it looks like your fish is stuck in your corner over flow? You could just take the pipes apart and get him out. I wouldn't reccoment siphoning him out unless you had a pretty big tube.
