Help ID’ing white growth on rock

Hi! New to saltwater. I’ve had my mantis shrimp’s 50 gallon up and running since June.
Can anyone help me ID what this is growing on the rock? Is it something I need to get rid of? I’m limited on CUC since my mantis eats them all…

Looks like a sponge to me .

IMO it almost looks like a sponge, I have a ton of those little pineapple sponges in my tank but I could be wrong.

I agree, I don't think it should be much to worry about and might just be a sign of good tank health?

Yeah, that's a sponge - as a general rule of thumb with sponges, if it's not growing over and smothering corals, it's probably harmless.

Personally, I'd keep it.
