I noticed what appears to be a bite or mark where this thing has drilled into my garf bonsai.

Any ideas on what this is? @ReefSquad

I had the same thing on my Tri Color Valida a year ago. It always struggled until I cut off that are with the worm thing in it and it took off after that and hasn’t had a problem since.

I ended up pulling the frag out. The spots were coral flesh removed. No barnacle. I’m really stumped on what this is. At first I thought, oh no, I’ve got AEFW, but that’s not it.

Do Flame Angels leave “etch marks” after nipping at an Acro? I’ve never seen mine do that in 7 years.
