Maybe a birds nest of some sort? Seritopora species.

Could be a lake of light also, I colony that overshadow themselves tend to have white polyps but as far as IDing I'm not sure.

since it has no terminal polyp it cant be an acropora. Im guessing pocillipora or stylophora
