My zoas/palys are starting to take off.

I changed 5 things:

* I keep SG at 1.024... when I get into 26/27 things slow down

* I dose 3 droplets of Lugols Iodine every day

* I dose 1000mg of Vitamin C in chalky tablets each day

* I dose 1/4 teaspoon of labgrade Potassium Nitrate daily

* I only use 420 to 490nm blue light. ZERO white light

5 pinwheel
7 candy apple reds

Frag those rastas and grow out on frag plugs. Rastas if I remember underwent a big wipeout from vendors a few years ago. I know they are super rare and very expensive. If your tank grows rastas easily you are sitting in 1000s of dollars you can make in 1-2 years. I believe 5 head rastas go for about $100
Unfortunately not so much anymore. You can expect to get about $30 for a plug covered in them.
