Hi just wondering exactly what this coral is? Some kind of softy. Anyone got any idea?

I have a nepthea coral, and the structure and texture of yours looks extremely similair to mine. However mine has less polyp extension from when i first got it and idky.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve only had it a week so guess I’ll have to be patient and see if it opens up any further! Do you have a picture of yours? I’d love to see :)

Ill try and take a photo later on as the lights are off, and the tank is in is really hard to take good photos of because of the lights lol. Ill see if i have any good ones for you though, but not too sure i do

Np lol. I will assure you that if it is nepthea its a really hardy coral. Mine had a tonne of flatworms on it at one point, and i decided to freshwater dip it. Id never FW fipped anything before so i was a little nervous and forgot that it was RO water you used and i used tap water. Needless to say it looked dead for anout a month with a horrible grey brown layer of dead skin, but it all peeled off and it continued to live lol
