Help ID this "Thing" on my Frag

Aiptasia. it's a terrible thing. razor blade it off out of the tank and rinse off the bottom w/ tank water or RO. You do not want it to leave anything on the plug. It looks like you could pop the SPS off the plug as well and just glue it where you want it.

its still in the bag. i will probably just get bone cutters and take the sps off. Should i pop the sps off and dip it in coral rx?

What ticks me off is the owner of the LFS seen it and smiled. It was kind of dark and thought it was a feather duster until i seen it in the light right now.
