Help identify light

Trying to buy this from a guy for my 40 gallon breeder. He said it's 2 1/2 feet long. And he said it's made by aqua light but I don't know how accurate that statement is

It has nothing on it? Im all for chinese knock off black boxs. Dimable is good. What color leds and how many watts is it? You have a pic of it on and running?

Most ViparSpectra lights have the name stamped out for the front vent but that light doesn't. Judging by the display it has to be a viparspectra they say aqua light systems above the display.
I'm guessing it's an older 300 watt ViparSpectra though.

That's the only picture I have and all the information I got. Dude said it's a couple years old

Better be for cheap. Black boxes aren't known for their solid craftsmanship

Still looks like it's a 300 watt ViparSpectra.

Aqua sun, mars aqua and a dozen other names. .
Good thing it' s not old school blue/ white only diodes.

Differences could be subtle or not so subtle.
From driver differences, lens quality to larger ( or any) real heat sinks

Even knowing the brand really doesn't help.
Remote matches some photos of a Viparspectra one
Also in the vip. lists "Aqua lite system" on the control panel.

For some reason just no branding of it as such.

Smaller model but note similarities.
