Does anyone have an idea what this may be on my Tang and also growing on my maxspect pump. It popped up on the fish overnight and am not sure if it is related or not. Thanks in advance for any help.

They are not the same thing. Looks like velvet or ich. I'm not expert though. #reefsquad

Does anyone else see what looks like worms on the yellow part of the tail? I don’t think this is only ich.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I see three possible things going on: the dark spots on the belly could be digenean trematodes, or possibly turbellarians. Some of the white spots are sticking out from the skin, so are not ich - those are what I call mucus plugs - moderately common in tangs, and they do pop up overnight. They can go away on their own, and seem to come from stress. Trouble is - there are also some small white spots that I cannot rule out as being ich, so to be safe, I think you'll need to treat this fish, as well as other fish it is in with, with copper in a treatment tank (ugh).
