I bought this bubble tip anemone 3 days ago. He seemed fine before I brought him home, but in the bag he was flipping himself upside down and puffing up. I drip and temp acclimated him for over an hour. when I added him to the tank he seemed to be doing fine but then he flipped over again. I gently flipped him over and then left so that he could do his thing. when I came back around two hours later he was upside down and splitting but seemed fine other than that. I assumed it was from the stress of being added to a new tank and from being in a car for around 30 minutes. but after leaving again and coming back to see that he hadn't moved or split more I began getting worried. I decided to leave him to not cause anymore stress, but after 3 days he is still the exact same and upside down. It also looks like there is stuff floating off and around him. Another note is that while he was in the bag and being driven home I noticed that a bunch of small worm looking things came out of his stomach.
The salinity is a little low, around 34. And the ph is also a little low and is in the 7.5-8 range. The nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia levels are all perfect.
Is there a chance that he can come back from this? And could this have been from me flipping him? Could this have been a preexisting issue from before I got him, or was this from stress?
All feedback will be very appreciated as I have only had a saltwater tank for a little under a year.
