Help just chipped tank

Hi I have brand new waterbox 150 infinity and I was removing the overflow cover and just hit tank and it chipped what the heck can’t believe so flimsy. Now question is do I keep tank? No chip on glass just the fracture of tempered glass.

I know that feeling. I'm sorry that you are dealing with this. Based on what I can see, it appears to be a clam shaped chip and not a structural issue. IMO you should be able to use the tank without an issue, but you are there and have a much better view than I do. Continue to monitor and move forward.
