Did you buy one ?
I started looking at IM. Either the Nuvo 100 or 170 probably the 170.
Alot I like about them.
I currently have a WB and its been great but I think IM is just as good if not better and for a whole lot less.
Anyone can chime in here the good and bad
Thanks

If you didnt go with waterbox, I’d recommend taking a look at UNS.i have a waterbox and love it. I also have an IM, but if I were buying an off the shelf system, I’d get a UNS as I really like their total set up with the sump layout etc.

No i love my waterbox but wanna go slightly bigger then the 110 thats only really 79g display I think.
The IM 170 is 170 display or the Nuvo 100 is 100g display with cab and sump is 2100 thats not bad

The planet tanks are very strong fairly priced and made in Texas.
I like the IM aquariums but don’t love thier stands.
I’m not the biggest fan of rimless aquariums.

Semi custom. Connect to Joe over at @Joe Glass Cages via their web page. They do both glass and acrylic. You will get a pretty quick turn around on the quote along with any follow up. I reached out to them recently and while I have not decided on a tank builder yet they get a lot of positive feedback due to their communication. Even when the quote comes in 10x higher than what you expect (due to my lack of clarity on material thickness) they are both honest and quick to clarify.

Acrylic you also have options such as fish tanks direct and truvu. Both of these offer free shipping. There is also Mid west and a few others.

Out of the box, up in the air. I would probably stay away from a brand that has two words first starting with an R and the second with a S. Search the forum and you will see why.

Over the counter, shrink wrap and ready to go your choice is probably solid. Spendy, but solid.

I love IM tanks too. I had the 75 and now have their 170. My only gripe with the 75 gallon is the sump takes up the entire cabinet footprint. I’m not sure if you are planning to get it with the sump, but I like to give people a heads up in case they are planning to store a lot of equipment down there.

Other than that, they are fantastic tanks, and a great value.

+1. I have the UNS R90 and love it. I’ve had a lot of tanks over the years, but this one is heads and shoulders above all the others. The quality of material is incredible and it’s built like a tank (pun intended). The attention to detail such as designated area for controllers, places to hide chords gravity ATO well laid out sump. Magnetic doors that you can sit out of the way when working in the sump area. Can you tell I love it? Lol. It was between this and a water box and I’m so happy with my decision.
