So in about a month or so I will be setting up a 150g Tank and I need help from all you socal fellow knowledgable reefers. So I really Like T5 Lighting because of the color combinations you could come up with, but I also like the shimmer from LEDs or MH. So I thought a Hybrid fixture would fit me best. The problem is I dont know whether to go T5/LED or T5/MH. This Tank will be set up as a Mixed SPS/LPS tank. I've decided to go with either one of these Sfiligoi fixtures but I havent decided which exact one yet. Please let me know which fixture I should go with and why you think I should go with it.
Thanks Guys!

If you want amazing colors and not have to deal with the heat, go with the t5&LED I bet the energy savings will help offset the cost as well.

MH is great but it's like trying to operate a high end computer on a dial up connection. It's old technology; it works but is dated. It's becoming obsolete IMO. At least the 150,175, and 250 watt stuff.

I can help you to hook it up with the Apex controller for dimmable the light. The Apex is having 4 0-10V variable speed ports in the system, but if you want to control more than 4 dimmable light, then you need to add on (buy) Speed/Dimming Module (VDM).

Do you know how to set it up to an apex and program it to have these effects?

I like the MH and T-5's combination. Maybe the MH are old technology, but the LED's are unproven technology, IMO.
