I know I need a filter for Better quality , but the gentlemen who sold us this coral stated it’s an LPS, but I’ve been told by other groups it’s a pavona which is a sps, any idea from anyone here ? Thanks in advance ! It’s almost brown out of the light , but it looks purple under the light .

That's interesting. Looks way more hairy than pavona I'm familiar with. You don't need a filter if you just take a pic with white light instead of all blue.

Looks like some species of Pavona. Looks very happy and healthy with that extension!
