System up and running for around 8 months.
Currently im adding about 20ml every morning of red seas alk powder mixed up as a full strength liquid as per brs.
As for calcium, I add it sporadically atm as I havent tracked usage yet. But its very low.
Ph is hard to gauge on my salifert test kit but its almost always darkish green so im assuming its 8+ when I test.
Im wanting to start dosing kalkwasser and im looking for a budget friendly doser to use.
I was all set to order the kamoer x1 but then I thought what if I want to dose another liquid in the near future....I know I could add another x1....
Is the wifi/Bluetooth really needed? I came across the simplicity doser and seems to get good reviews and the price is right. Is the simplicity rated for continuous?
What do you all feel you're gaining from having wifi besides playing with it away from home?
Also should I really consider a stepper motor driven pump? Does everyone eventually want to drip constantly? Or is 12-24 doses per day sufficient?
Do most people use a ph controller? How do you prevent the ph from getting too high
