Help me pick lights!

48x19x16 tank looking for something budget that will grow softies and that is compatible with an arm mount, how many of what light do you recommend?

I would look at kessils or AIs, can find them slightly used for a good price.

Grab a used few used Reefis from the marktplace here, or some Ai's.

Kessils give great shimmer

Ah for just softies, Reefis/Ai would probably be overkill.

For budget lighting I’d try 2 Nicrew 200 gen 2.

Best budget I would say Noo psyche K7 Pro 3 , you would probably need 3, two would be cutting it close. If you use @BeanAnimal profile generator Noo-Psyche K7 Profile Generator , they are a breeze to set up and adjust

Thank you all for the recommendations. I am fairly new in the last few years to corals and have had luck with beginner stuff, maybe I should go for better lights incase I want to jump into lps, sps down the line? If so how many kessils or AI should I go for on that size tank?

2 of the Nicrew 150s. Get the Gen2. They come with the tank mounts, will be plenty for that size tank for almost anything. Get the controller at the same time and you are setup for the future
