Help me pick my next coral!

Hi all! So I'm trying to fill the space where in this picture the Hollywood stunner currently resides. It will be rehomed soon (growing too fast, too long sweepers for my size tank) and I'm looking for something to takes its place.

The area is Medium flow, medium light. I don't have any soft coral in my tank other than zoa and mushrooms so I'm not opposed to something soft and flowy for that corner as long as it doesnt take over the tank!

I tried the black torch up there but he wasn't too happy for some reason.

Any suggestions or ideas based on what you see?

I won't be much helping you pick corals but wanted to comment...dang every tank I seen you post looks great! Biocube and now this! Is coming along nicely!

I would throw a rainbow chalice up there. They grow a bit slower and will look really nice.

I was going to suggest something red ,, maybe a Red Blasto ,, but I like that Rainbow Chalice idea ,, the other chalice seems to be doing well in that spot ,, I would acclimate the chalice up into that spot though ,, Great idea DSC Reef :)

If you want to try soft corals a photosynthetic gorgonian would add a unique touch

I'm a big chalice fan, and since the stunner is growing well there, I'd consider another chalice. Actually it looks like you could put two or three frags there and let them grow out.

I also a chalice nut and the rainbow would be awesome. Here’s my favorite one at the moment, @WWC Yellow Rimmed Watermelon in the bottom of my tank so would have to be acclimated higher.

Or if you like the colors this is @WWC Sour grapes

No I dont believe so. Mine are not close enough to each other yet but I've seen other tanks with chalice close to each other

Typically they will but like species can be kept together. @mikejrice has an awesome nano with a chalice garden. Maybe he can help with suggestions.
