Help me take photos with my LGg6 :(

I'm struggling really bad getting any real nice photos with my new LGg6, my main reason for getting this particular phone was for the camera. I have seen some really nice photos with iphones and samsungs, so is anyone having any luck using the G6? If so what settings or tips can you share that can help me here? Is it filters or photo programs (photoshop, lightroom) that is creating the great images for you? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Consider getting an app called Snapseed. it's a photo editing app. I usually go to temperature and up the red, and up the white balance slightly

I was rather disappointed in that photo, doesn't really show true colors. I have tried snapseed also, couldn't really get a better image than what the phone was providing. Maybe I'm just expecting to much, but I have seen some truly nice photos from other members using smart phones.

check out this thread, maybe I am not explaining the steps for Snapseed. play around with it.. the quality of the photo is great! Just needs some color adjustments like you said

The G6 is dismal at taking photos because the WB only goes to 7500k. I've been really disappointed by the G6s camera compared to the S7 it replaced (10,000k max).

While phones have come a long way with quality cameras, it's still a phone. If you enjoy photography and want better quality images buy a camera. Taking pictures of items in a tank poses many technical issues from proper focus to good white balance.

It's my weakness. I'd like to make undewater photography as well as you.

was this picture taken through glass or from above the tank?
