Hi. Can somebody tell me what is wrong with my torch ? Tentacles are so tiny and thin And base is wide open or flat. Maybe strong light ?

That’s normal at night.. what lighting are you using? It looks pretty dim.. mine is under a radion at full blast and loving it.. doubt the light is your problem.

This torch or other torches? They always close up at night if that’s what you’re saying.. if it’s doing it during the day then something is off.

I have only this one.
So it looks good all day? If it does during the day “open and extended” you’re fine! At night time they retract and close up mostly..

Ok guys little update. I moved my torch on bottom of my tank with low flow and low par and looks happy now . Tentacles are fully retracted all day now :)

Some are just weird like that! :) I just picked up a ny nicks torch and it only wants to open half way… go figure lol in lower flow it stayed retraced.. high flow it opens
