I’m about to add very expensive corals to my tank and I don’t want my anemone to nuke the tank if it’s dying. Please can someone help and tell me if it’s dying and what should I do

How long has the tank been up and running? What are your parameters? Any swings in parameters lately?

If you are having an anemone not doing well and zoanthids not doing well, I think you should not add anything else. If you can’t maintain your current inhabitants what makes you think adding more expensive corals will help? There is an obvious issues with your system. The signs your corals are giving you tells you they are not happy. There are a ton of possibilities but my guess it this has to do with a young tank and a new reefer. I recommend to slow down. Learn how to care for your current inhabitants before you add more. It’s takes time and you will learn. We have all been where you are
