Help my Hitchhiking crab

I just got a sea hare and he disappeared. Then I found this guy. Any chance he off the poor guy?

I honestly don't feel a crab would snack on a sea hare and they are notorious for just disappearing.

That doesn't mean I think the crab is harmless. I would remove him.

Is it hairy or does the pic make it seem so? Hairy crabs are bad.

I pulled one of these guys out of my nano not too long ago and they look the same. Definitely looks like a stone or gorilla crab to me but I'm no expert. If it has black tips on its claws you should keep it out of your tank imo.
