Help needed for unhappy Goni

This used to be my red goni. During a tank upgrade it got unhappy and has yet to go back to the way it used to look. It's not dead, as you can see the polyps are extended a little. Anyway to bring it back? I have another goni that's doing great. Before and after pic
Tank was upgraded end of dec.
Alk 8.9, cal 420, mag 1350, trates 10, phos .03 I've always ran a little bit "dirtier" tank

You could try to move it a little bit higher place, to get more light.
Maybe it will back to its normal colors.
And you should check your salt.
Maybe your salt is not suitable for too much Coral. Due to lack of trace elements or something else for your coral.
And check your light is it get right and enough wave length.

I'm using natural sea water , and never face the situation like this.

My light was maxspect RSX, when I changed my previous light to this one. Several of my coral, including brain coral, red goniopora, was coloring up to its right color before.

Thanks for the reply. Beautiful tank! I'm using Red Sea Pro, the same I've always used even when it was happy. And my lights are t5s with new bulbs. I have tried different spots on the sandbed but haven't tried higher up.

Try higher up this goniopora, step by step. I think it will be what it used to be before.
Goni need a little bit light I think, middle of the tank.
My goni was on the sand was because my tank is only 40cm high.

I have a 4 bulb ho t5 fixture with fresh bulbs. My tank is only 16" high and the fixture sits on the tank

I keep my Goni on the bottom of my tank in the corners. My tank is 30 inches high. I do not think this coral turned white because too little light

Try feeding some Reef Roids or Coral Frenzy
