Hey guys and gals!
I stuck in a pickle on finding a decent skimmer for around 100$
I have a 46gal + 15gal sump
I'm looking for a hang on the back to leave my sump more room

So far I am finding
Which looks really solid with a large capacity
And then I found on Craigslist below, some one selling a Coralife super 125 for $100 brand new

What should I do guys my system is heavily fed

If your system is heavily fed, I'd suggest you get a good skimmer and blow the budget.

RSK 300 is prolly overkill unless you've got a high load, but I like those red sea skimmers

IMO the coral life skimmers are not good. I ran one for a while on a similar set up and it did OK. I switched to a bubble magus curve 5 and noticed the difference right away. If you can swing the budget I would look for something better.

Ill say this, when it comes to reefing spend money on vital equipment... Going a cheaper route, you'll end up spending more money in the end. Skimmers are pretty important....i would save and get something good or find deals on the used market.

When it comes to HOB skimmers, Aquamaxx HOB 1.5 is pretty highly regarded. They are popular and reliable, so you may be able to find a good deal on a used one. Otherwise they are under $200 new.
