Yes, I did that a few times and was able to do a firmware update eventually. But then I go back to assign devise on profilux and it won’t let me. I try to do firmware update again and it won’t let me from profilux.
I'll see if I can do some digging. I would have assumed there is something in the doser programming that you would select to change it to slave from stand alone but I'll see if I can confirm that.

@Gonzo74

First if this is a Stand Along doser, you need to USB into it and change it to a slave, so that you can connect it to the P4. It right on the System menu when you log into it with GCC Connect. Make sure the Director is not connected either to the P4 or the Slave doser yet.

Next once you change it to a slave, you need to poower down the unit. Connect the PAB cable now from the now Slave doser to the P4, and power it up.

Then log into to the P4, and add the device the Slave doser should appear.

Next connect the Pab cable to the Director and power it up.

Go now and add the Director to the P4.

Is it too late to do this if I already tried connecting to P4 while the doser and the KH were connected via PAB?

@Gonzo74 - Not at all :) Just disconnect the Doser and KH.

Then USB into the Doser, go to the system menu and change it to Slave, and save the settings. Then you can pair it with the P4. Then install the KH and Pair it with the P4. You should be all set after that.

Thanks Ditto, I just confirmed that selecting it as a slave is an available option on the general settings screen but you beat me to it!
