Thinking of water changes and activated carbon only while also regulating dosing. I already have Iodine, but is there any products that may replace most other trace elements? Trying to run a stricter budget at the moment and trace elements are kind of expensive lol. Any other recommendations? Hopefully the link works https://lab.faunamarin.de/en/share/analysis/205429

Also, if Seachem Matrix removes nitrates, would it be a good idea for me to take that out of my filter because I'm still low even while dosing nitrates and feeding more?

Mateix just houses bacteria that can lower nitrate, but does not do so directly. More water changes and feeding more should help get you on an even keel though. Most fish food has some iodine in it, and that would help with your nitrates.
For a comprehensive trace doseing product, i have experience with redsea and all for reef, both work well and could recommend either one. I am also on a budget and was using bulk reef supply for alk and cal before AFR, coupled with redsea trace, and it was working very well amd kept me within budgetary restraints. I got sick of manually adding that all though and switched over to AFR on a single dosing pump. I have also heard good things about tropic marins trace a and k too.
