Hello All, I’ve been searching online and can’t seem to find an answer. Maybe I’m just not good at searching.
Anyways, need your help.
I have two Maxspect Xf230 gyre pumps that also come with the advanced controller. However, I want to mimic some success stories from our reefers on this forum on how to set the pumps to alternate on an off off say 30mins via apex as I am unable to set the one of the pumps to completely turn off via the advanced controller.
1. Do I need an icecap interface in order to program via apex? Even with the new Apex 2016 model?
2. Or Is there a way to alternate pumps on and off via the factory advanced controller?
3. Please share apex program settings?
Thank you for your help!

You need two ICM’s to connect 2 gyres via Apex. You’ll also need a power cable splitter or a second power supply.

Thanks. I have 2 free outlets on my apex, so that’s not a problem. However, why do I need icecap interface module if all I want is for apex to alternate turning on and off? Isn’t there another way?

Because you are replacing the “brain” of the gyres with the ICMs.
