Someone local to me is selling 3 aqua illumination ai sols for $100.. I don’t know much about them at all but know aqua illumination makes some of the best lights in the game.. the only thing I know is that they are old.. you think it’s worth buying them? Would they perform better than Chinese box lights? (That I currently have) anyone have experience with these lights? Always wanted aqua illumination lights.. but never willing to spend the thousands on multiple lights. Let me know before I buy thanks guys!

Are they sol blues?
I believe so! I’m just worried about how old they are.. lights are like 9-10 years old right? They still going to be able to grow corals fine?

These are the lights! I guess he said it comes with 4 of them, the 4th one needs the power supply replaced but he said it comes with it... so basically $25 a light

Yes. Replacement parts are hard to come by, but they are excellent if the pucks are all good.

He said he tested all them and they all work so hopefully. And they are hard to come by or literally impossible?

Do they have a controller?
Yes it comes with controller and railing. My main worry is is the spectrum still good in the LEDS? I’ve heard LEDs lose some power after time of use

They will be fine.

Agree, I'd scoop them up for a bill!

Bailey, replacement pucks and parts CAN be found.
