We battled Dinos for 3 months and successfully have eliminated them for 2 months now without a reoccurrence.

Now our three torch corals have been going downhill, with one looking pretty much dead at this point. We tried an iodine dip as well as coral RX (at different times spaced out). The only noticeable thing I could see was a white “peach fuzz” on the one torch that is in the worst shape/almost gone, and noticed it on the closest torch to it, but never on the third torch (third torch is on the other side of the tank). Today the Duncan started not opening as well. We dipped in coral RX today.

Parameters:

Alk: 10.2
Cal: 425
Salinity: 1.027
PH: 8.2
Temp: 77-78
Mg: 1450

nitrate: a little above 0, we have been trying to get this back up and stable after battling Dinos, unsuccessfully.
ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0

All suggestions welcomed. This is our first reef tank, I have been in the freshwater planted (co2 etc.) hobby for about 10 years so I am familiar with that but this has been a whole new beast, that i have been enjoying so much.... but would love to find some stability and not lose my torches!

Pictures attached of all three torches 2 weeks apart... the worst looking being today.

Sorry for the late response back… I haven’t, what product do you suggest to dose with?
I dose fishofhex nitrate. It more concentrated and cheaper then others on the market and I have had very good luck with it.
