Wondering if someone can help. Just saw these white strings under my frogspawn flesh can anyone tell me what’s going on with it? My tank is still new basically a month old. It’s my first tester coral been in the tank for about 3 weeks was doing fine and then I notice the strings. Going through a diatom bloom and getting small green dots on my rocks. Green algae/green coralline algae I believe. I don’t have a Mag, Cal, or Phosphate tester yet but here’s my parameters
  • Alk 8-9 dKH
  • PH 7.6-8
  • Nitrate 0
  • Nitrite 0
  • Ammonia 0
  • Salinity 1.025
  • Temp 77-78

Yea that’s what I figured. It seemed to be doing fine the few weeks I got it. It even has a baby head but again it’s a tester trying to take it slow somewhat since getting back into the hobby. I have one been debating on getting rid of it.

Couldn't see clearly enough on my iPad, but it's probably nothing to worry about.
Here’s a better pic and hope so. Again it’s a tester coral but it’s been doing fine the past 2-3 weeks I’ve had it just discovered a baby head about to grow so hoping it’ll get better. Debating on getting rid or keeping the hermit and getting a fire shrimp not sure yet

I stopped worrying about my corals long ago. As long as it's not BJD I generally let nature determine what happens (you wins some, you loses some).

Is there any flow in the tank? The polyps all seem to be drooping down in the pics...

And I would not "get rid of it", its alive and in not bad condition. Its something about your tank that is making it unhappy. Its now your responsibility to try to understand why its unhappy and try to fix it.

dont, getting rid of it isn't a great idea as there is still a large chance of you bringing back its heath
