Sorry to hear that.

I'm not certain that the two issues are fully related. The raised scales and bloated belly on the lemon peel points more to kidney or liver failure. The emperor may have had Neobenedenia flukes (they are known for getting this!) but the infection was severe enough that a secondary bacterial infection subsequently set in.
Emperor definitely had them, could see one crawl around his eye. That was a new one for me.

That's Neobenedenia for sure....it is sometimes called "eye flukes", but they live all over the fish's body.

Yeah :/ I killed them off he was on his second round of prazi but I think I should have treated for bacterial first.
