Hi I have my own aquarium business I have come into a standstill with a problem I have with one of my clients. My client has a cat cafe the 65 gallon acrylic saltwater aquarium is in and the cats keep getting behind the aquarium and scratching the posts, does anyone have any ideas how to stop them from getting back there or have any structure ideas at all?

Well, the wood looks terrible.

Put in something smooth like the stand. Notice how the stand is left alone?

And tell your cat cafe to put in a tall scratch post. Cats are going after that because they lack a tall area to stretch elsewhere.

aluminium foil.......i.e. kitchen foil. wrap the post and the cat won't go near it anymore
