Help with coral boring spiodid worms

I think these are coral boring spiodid worms. I’ve looked online some people say they’re harmless? I find that hard to believe but I am not sure. Any advice on how to deal with them if it is? Online says glue over them. Pictures are at night the torches are out fully during the day.

It is very possible you are dealing with Spionid worms. I have a few in my tank as well. Pretty harmless but more of an eye sore for me. I really started seeing them multiply as I fed Reef Roids....

Reef Safe super glue is fine. This would essentially seal the worms opening and prevent it from spreading. My preferred method is to just manually remove.. If possible, I would try to scrape them off or if on the coral perhaps try tweezers. Best to ensure proper water parameters and low nutrient levels...As I mentioned above, I really started to see an outbreak after broadcast feeding Reef Roids.

I had a bunch of spionid worms in my tank, they eventually will die off over time.

They really won’t harm the coral even boring into the skeleton?

I just took the two torches out and scraped as many of the worms off as I could - i definitely saw little pinholes in the skeleton
