Help with frogspawn

The light is about 18 watts i have some zoas and a candy cane

If your candy cane is doing well then your frogspawn should come around, just give it some time. If it gets worse, or doesn't get better within a week or so, then i would worry.

.The stress is all about the change. If your water quality is good I would change as little as possible. Just let it a clue me. That is usually the best thing to do in my opinion

For me personally I couldn't keep anything with this light. All the features were cool but I got zero coral growth with this fixture. Hopefully you have a better experience

Assuming its night time, could be something else besides the light, like PH. Even if your light isn't top notch, if you can keep the candy cane healthy, i can't see an issue with why the frogspawn wouldn't be healthy. It might not grow very well, and i suppose it could recede, but i'd bet its something else. Like I said its still new so be patient. If it doesn't improve, start trouble shooting. Many times i've reacted too quickly and started tinkering when I should have just left well enough alone.

Update: Coral is starting to open up a little bit.

So its not opening again so what do i do?

I had a branching hammer that did the same thing. It took about a week then it opened up a little bit at a time for a week and now it's opened fully all the time. Changing tanks is stressful and sometimes they just take some time to adjust.

Unless the flesh is receding, give it more time. If it's not getting any worse it may just still be acclimating. It can take a while, just have to be patient.

It is getting worse i can barely see any green anymore

Have you been monitoring your parameters and keeping them from swinging? If so, have you tried moving it around the tank? Different flow patterns, higher or lower for more or less light, etc?

Yes everything was perfect my acans were thriving but unfortunately it died 2 days ago. thanks for all of your help

Sorry to hear that man. Sometimes it happens for unexplained reasons. I've had several torches do the same exact thing to me, but my frogspawn, duncans, etc are all doing great. Corals are finicky creatures.

Looks like a new tank. How long did you let it cycle?

It looks like a wall hammer that's was cut. When a call hammer is cut it will most likely not survive.
