Yellow watchmen goby white bulge

My yellow watchmen goby has been acting and eating normally. A few weeks ago, he got a spot on his belly and it didn't change much. Yesterday it swelled very quickly and then burst. It's white gunk coming out is what it looks like.

I have no idea what this is or how to fix it. I can't find any similar cases online. Any ideas?

This goby was one of my original fish, had for 1.5 years

0.16 phosphate
0 nitrite
0 ammonia

i SEE WHAT LOOK to be a cyst from an injury and suggest in a separate tank, treating with Seachem Kanaplex which is absorbed by the fish working internally and externally

I agree, this looks like an abscess that has burst. Treatment in a hospital tank with a borad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic, like Kanaplex would be what I would try.

It’ll be a day or two before I can get him into a hospital tank. Is there risk to the other tank inhabitants in the meantime do you think?

I think the risk is very low - abscesses are confined to the affected fish, I’ve never seen them to be contagious.
