Hello everyone,

I've been noticing the past few days I been accumulating a bit of single hydroids on the glass of my tank. This is the second time I've set my tank up but the first time ever having a issue with hydroids. I've asked people how to get rid of them And no one can seem to give me a definitive answer. So if you have any expirence with these little please help me out. I've read they can kill little fish and fish fry. There are only 4 corals in the tank and some hermits nothing else.
Thank you in advance.

It really depends on what species you have. Any chance of a pic? From my own experience. The free swimming hydroids we sometimes find in our tanks don't survive very long. Conditions are not favorable or they're removed via filtration.
Personally I would not worry yourself :)

They look like little snowflakes on the glass
