Help with i.d small bugs on acropora

After an I.d on these?

I purchased a small acro frag that had tiny white bugs on. After dipping this I what they look like. I took the picture with a jewellers lupe and a Samsung phone. They look like a tiny pod of some sort I can make out what looks like a single reflective eye.

I've decided not to put the frag into my quaratine tank as not to introduce this into my systems, but I'd like to try and find out what they are

Not sure what you going on there,for better or for worst. They do look more like bugs though.Are they tiny like a period or closer to a sesame seed in size?

They are tiny,almost appear as a white/grey when on the coral

Well you are wise to have a quarantine tank . It could be parasitic. I imagine that a really clear photograph would be needed to get a postive ID.For now, Check out the thread below for similarities. @Dana Riddle has provided a well illustrated link there.

The good news is the dip killed them. There hasn’t been much dip success with red and black bugs. I had some similar looking bugs like that on a couple frags I purchased from a collector. They were surprisingly fast and easy to see up close. I dipped them in Bayer
and haven’t seen any since.
