Help with jump guard gap

After finding my watchman goby in the back compartments of my tank I realised my new jump guard has a small enough gap for him to escape through. Any ideas of how to cover or weigh down the gap?. It’s a gif if you press the picture.

Geez, he made it through that? Determined little bugger. Instead of weighing it down, you could put some self adhesive weather stripping for windows where the gap is. I've never done it personally, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It comes in foam and "bristles" and will stick to your jump guard. Comes in many different thickness' and should be available at any hardware store.

Oh great thanks. He either made it through that or through the grate in the pic below. But he’s been in the tank two weeks so would he random if he hadn’t got through it before.
