I have a 55 gallon tank reef setup, with two Nicrew Gen 1 150w about 10-12" above water level. Goal ia for a mixed reef of LPS, SPS and softies.
What should my light settings and schedules be? I cant find a conroller for this Gen and have them on a 10hr timer.
Having a tough time finding PAR readings/levels for a 55 gallon.

Many thanks in advance!

I bought a seneye par meter and it works great. You could probably find a used one
For around 100$

I think a light gradient of 200-50 PAR would be suitable. Unless you plan on keeping acro's I dont think you'll need anything higher than 200 PAR.
If you can't buy a PAR meter, you can use the Photone app and just use your phone camera to measure and adjust before adding coral. Get a waterproof phone bag and a selfie stick, and you have a $7.99 PAR meter. I use the Blue&White LED add-on. There's a good thread detailing how to use the app effectively.

I've had the best results positioning frag racks in a medium zone around 100 PAR and then adjusting their position if they require more or less light.
