Help with my blastomussa

Hello folks,

Notice a significative grow of this purple thing on my Blastomussa base pad.

It seems it will outcompete with the coral soon.

First, whats is this?

Second, should I move the coral to a new pad. I dont have experience fragging at all.

Looks like a tunicate. Harmless filter feeders, and I don't think it will harm your blastos.
