Hey, am installing an overflow box on 40b, it’s not deep enough to fit the bulkhead and street 90°. Are there any other option to build a stand pipe?

I have not drilled yet, was planning on herbie drain style with 2, 1”bulkheads.

what do you think I should do? Should I;
1) stick with 2 holes and try to figure out a stand pipe that can fit?

2) only drill one hole don’t have emergency

3) any other suggestions? Maybe place drains stacked vertically?

Thanks

What about this? One drain in the box and this standpipe next to it

You’ll want a bigger overflow box, or smaller plumbing… 3/4” can handle around 600gph, which is overkill for a 40B already!

I used a 4.5” depth, 9” tall overflow box when I did my DIY version; this allowed me to install bulkheads backwards for tight clearance plumbing behind the tank!
