HELP with Salifert Kh/ALK test!

So im still very confused as to what they mean by "lower end of the black part of the piston" and "read the position of the, now the upper end, of the black part of the piston"
Are you supposed to draw in the regent until the first part of the piston is at 1ml? of the second or last part of the piston?

Pull all the way back, then push forward until the black part hits :)

It's how I test mine and turns up positive results. I'm positive that's how to do it.

yes, they mean the begining of the piston hitting the 1ml line....
