Help with sand bed

I need help with my sand bed every time I vacuum it it looks good for 12 hours and then goes back to green and I can’t add snails or Gobys because it’s a predator tank

Maybe try some sand sifting starfish?

Yeah the lights are normally really blue and dim I just put the white high for a photo

I was thinking that but I think my big puffer will eat them
