Help with sump set up

Hi me again, so I really need some direction when it comes to my sump layout please.

Sump is the reefer 250 V3. Equipment I have is

Reefmat 250
Return pump
Skimmer

A uv steriliser that I was going to use with a second return pump so I can adjust flow as and when.

I would like to grow cheato in the refugium but from my understanding the sump may be a little small so may have to convert the secondary top up tank it came with.

Also Redsea don't make it clear do I remove that piece of glass I have marked with arrows as the reefmat fits in the gap from the filter sock holder but it is snug as you can see

Any help is really appreciated and even better some drawings or pictures would be even better.

To try and simplify it I have added a picture of my sump and numbered the sections

The Return pump goes in #1 Skimmer probably in #2 I think you cut the glass out of #4 for your roller mat to fit
