Hello I have a 55 gallon cube and I was away on the weekend for my sisters wedding. I come back today and my tank is a mess. Would an anemone dying cause a crash I have a lot of livestock and filter and skimmer. My flame angel I can’t find (super torn about this) watched my clownfish die, dead Melanrius and dead anemone. The shrimp were fine, suprisngly my leopard wrasse was fine (male), carpenter wrasse was fine and Springer dotty back was fine. They seemed stressed but I did a water change and immediately calmed down. Can an anemone the white ones with the purple tips really release that much ammonia I don’t even know why it died
. I was then gonna give it back to the LFS since my clownfish weren’t hosting it and it almost killed my blood shrimp but I saw it happen and isolated it in a mesh breeder box hit spot fed it and it had light access.
