Help with vortech gyre mode.

Having trouble getting my 2 vortechs to get into gyre mode. I have them hooked up to the reeflink and set for 20 minutes. The problem is they just pulse on and off. I was hoping that I could get 1 on for 20 minutes and then the other for a gyre mode. Something I'm missing?
I did a search in Google and found a link to use a long pulse mode... I don't have that even offered on my vortechs. [emoji848]

If you have the QD Wireless model, first you have to set one pump for Master mode so that it broadcasts a wireless signal. Then for your second one, you set it to Slave mode and then Anti-Sync it to the first/Master pump. Details are in the manual on how to do this with the controllers, starting on page 10. I haven't used Reef Link in awhile; it may be possible to do this from that interface as well.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the wireless pumps. I think I figured it out. (I hope) I never hit the configure button. I assume that saves the program. [emoji849]

Nope I'm wrong.
It appears that gyre mode is already set to a constant. so I turned the time up to the two hours for gyre but it just increases the pulse that it turns on for. 2 seconds time it will do like, say, on and off every couple of seconds but on a 2 hours setting it will go on for about 15 seconds and then turn down not sure if this is right but this is what it's doing.
So I guess I was hoping that gyre was if you wanted it on 20 minutes you set the time for 20 minutes one pump would turn on and then you have the other pump anti sink so when the first pump shuts off the second pump turns on for that 20 minutes. so I guess I don't know what I'm doing here.

I don't think the Vortech will do exactly what you want without putting them on some sort of controller. You can anti-sync them but I don't see an adjustment for the non-flow duration. You can definitely do what you want with a controller or with other pumps like the Gyre.

I have my mp40’s set to gyre mode and alternate hourly (reeflink) but when they swap it happens in seconds and Was told by them that this is not adjustable only the duration they run when ramped up and flow rate. Then one that slows down will still be running on the lowest level gently until switches and ramps up.

Here is how I have mine set on reeflink to accomplish it if it helps you if not sorry. I don’t do anything fancy with them just all day long at 30% gyre mode 24 hours.

I did try anti-sync mode and that seems to ramp them together. So then I tried sync and they ramp opposite. I think what was screwing me up is the live mode. They don't do what you ask in that mode (they just ramp up and down quickly) and they also run in sync.
And yes, I forgot to hit program.
